An opportunity has come up to join our Ripon and Wellbeing Service, which support older and vulnerable people in Ripon and surrounding areas
Support Worker
Part time, 18 hours per week, Mon, Weds and Thurs
Occasional Friday working will be needed, for which time off in lieu will be given
NJC SCP 14 – 17 £16,481 – £17,547 per year pro rata (full time is 37 hours)
We need a Service Support Worker to join a small, dedicated team of staff and volunteers who visit people in their own homes in Ripon and the surrounding areas .You will be providing high quality advice, information and emotional support to help them to retain their independence and wellbeing. You will need to have a friendly and cheerful outlook, a really good understanding of the issues facing older and vulnerable people and previous experience of providing one to one support, advice and guidance, (personal care is not involved).
