The Rotary Club of Harrogate Brigantes recently provided HELP with another boost to their funds, in the form of a £1,250 cheque. The Brigantes had selected five charities to support after receiving a £5,000 donation from an anonymous local resident.
The £1,250 donation was presented by Howard Rayner of the Brigantes to Frances Elliot from the HELP team and will provide a much-needed cash injection to support HELP’s work assisting local older and vulnerable people to remain living independently.
The Rotary Club of Harrogate Brigantes has been a keen supporter of HELP over recent years, having selected it as their Charity of the Year in 2014/15 under the presidency of Peter Wood. The group’s ongoing support has been indispensable, paying for both tools and gardening equipment, as well as donating general funds to support the charity’s work.
