We are delighted to announce that the staff and customers of Sainsbury’s in Ripon have voted our Ripon & Rural Wellbeing Service as it’s Local Charity Partner for 2016/17.

Lizzie Hughes met with the Great Place To Work team at the store to discuss fundraising and profiling opportunities for the next 12 months which will include in store events such as tombolas and bookstalls. Store Manager Graham Chawner has also pledged his support by taking part in the Sainsbury’s Big Bike Ride in September in aid of the Wellbeing Service.

Julie Proudler, Service Coordinator of the Ripon & Rural Wellbeing Service, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Sainsbury’s in Ripon. Our partnership will provide a fantastic platform for promoting our work to a wider audience, for attracting new volunteers and for raising funds to keep our services running. We are really grateful to everyone who voted for us and look forward to what the next 12 months will bring!”
