21 members and volunteers from Kirkby Malzeard lunch club recently enjoyed a visit to Jervaulx Abbey Tea Rooms. The diners swapped their usual weekly venue in Kirkby Malzeard village hall for the beautiful surroundings of Jervaulx Abbey Tea Rooms, where they enjoyed a meal in the company of friends.
Josie Pearson, who has volunteered with the lunch club for over 20 years said: “This makes a lovely change for our guests. Everyone enjoyed a good chit chat together with friends.”
This is just one of several outings and activities organised by the Lunch Club, where our guests are provided with a hot, home cooked meal for guests every fortnight.
