The Rotary Club of Harrogate Brigantes recently made a donation of £1,690 to HELP to support its work assisting older and vulnerable people to live independently within the Harrogate District. Howard Rayner from the Brigantes presented Frances Elliot from HELP with the funds, which were a proportion of proceeds from their Christmas grotto in Asda and from a donation they had received.
Frances Elliot, HELP Manager said: “This is a most welcome surprise. We are so grateful to the Rotary Club of Harrogate Brigantes for choosing to support us both now, and over the past few years, with donations. The money is much-needed and will directly support local people.”
