We have a variety of volunteer roles to suit everyone depending on your interests and the amount of time you have to give:
One off opportunities
Fundraising – we regularly hold fundraising events, such as coffee mornings and concerts. This is a fun way to get involved on an ad hoc basis.

Are you a group of colleagues or friends who would like to help out for a few hours? Why not get a team of you together to help transform a garden, repaint someone’s home or organise a fundraising event. Many hands really do make light work.
Regular volunteering opportunities
These are the ways you can get involved at times to fit in with your busy schedules:
Befriending volunteers – Do you like meeting people? Do you have a good listening ear? We are looking for caring, empathetic people to become volunteer befrienders to over 65s living in and round Ripon.
Social group volunteers – could you help out at one of our regular social groups? This involves meeting and greeting, making guests feel at ease and getting involved with activities such as craft. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people and likes to chat.
