Staff from Wolseley UK have been holding a series of dress down days to raise much-needed funds for HELP’s Ripon and Rural Wellbeing Service. Held over  the past year, staff jointly raised £1,150 for the Wellbeing Service. The donation will be used to support the service’s work providing home visits and lunch clubs for over 65s in Ripon and the surrounding rural areas.

This donation was further boosted by £500 from the Wolseley Hughes Charitable Trust, which is operated by Wolseley PLC.  Michelle Henstock, Payroll and Benefits Manager at Wolseley UK, put the Wellbeing Service forward for the pot of funding in recognition of the branch’s fundraising efforts. The fund is intended to assist employees or branches in supporting charitable causes either through volunteer work or charitable fundraising and is part of Wolseley UK’s commitment to support local communities.
